A 50cm steel cable links the adjuster dial to your brake lever, so you can fine-tune lever reach — the distance from the lever to the grip — quickly and without tools, dialling in the exact bite point that suits your hand size, glove thickness and riding conditions. Consistent lever position is one of the fastest ways to sharpen braking control: no stretching for the lever mid-corner, no guessing where the bite starts.
